Left LBP at 4:30. And set up by 5:30 on the oceanside of fishermans island.We fished til 10:30. Final count 14 red drum 3 were citions 48,46, 461/2.My best night ever.

Yeah
We messed up and left our first spot after no fish for a few hours, only to return back at 9pm and catch 4 reds and a black in less than a hour.
Did you guys do any good while the current was still rolling?
When we moved closer to fishermans, we waited for the current to slow, I mean we waited for 4 hours, it got down to 2 kts, then bam a weed line moved into us and the current was ripping hard again. I said forget it, and we picked up and moved back to the red 10 can area.

We went further out. And the tide eased a little and thats when the fishing picked up for us.

Yeah same here, the tide easing was the switch that turned on the bite.

Never tryed for drum, look like giant croacker, what do you use and how do you rigg up for them..
