I am back in town after 3 weeks of being away and I want to take the son fishing. Does any one have any ideas on what charter or other boat we should be looking for? We prefer Saturday. I just want him to have a good time and catch some (lots preferred) fish. He is 12 years old and loves to put the pole in da water.

Here or Oregon Inlet? If Oregon Inlet --call Pirates Cove Marinia in Manteo - they are great folks. Sat. is short notice though. The fish are bitinig down there and the boats are really booked on the weekends
try a headboat charter. That is a fun day on the water, and not too bad on your wallet.
