A little late on the post, but we also went out on Tuesday out of OI. The weather was absolutely beautiful, which is always nice when fishing out of a 25' boat. We were fortunate enough to catch two 35 lb YFT and two pretty mahi. We found the tuna a little ways away from the Point, but the mahi were caught near the Tuna Hole on a little patch of a weedline. We did get to see Billable Ours gaff that great looking Big Eye, nice gaff shot by the way. It was nice to see a boat we recognized way out there. Like Billable Ours said, the Pilot Whales were everywhere. It was really an impressive site to see them all. The weather looks pretty good again for Fri., so we may try it again. For all the smaller boats out there, it can be done, just watch the weather. Tuna and Mahi in one day on my own little boat. I have to admit, I had my doubts before we left as to if we would catch 'em, but we did. I tried to post pics once before without success, but I'll try again.

Give us a shout if you see us! Dave sees fish better than Boat names. He called the fleet in a few times when the bite picked up, guess he hopes they will do the same now and then! Great work and great fun!
