fishweather.com,www.intellicast.com and the national weather service forecast for offshore waters predictions for Sat. are SSW winds @ 5-10KT seas 2'-3' , however www.weather.gov/carolinascoast prediction is W @ 10-15KT SEAS 3'-5'. i cannot fish 3-5 seas in my boat, i can fish 2-3 seas in my boat. the question for the experienced captins is ,which prediction do you think would be more accurate? looking for a word or two from the wise ones !

Your going in a 20 ft boat, out of OI or HI?
In my opition I would look to go when they all say 5-10 or light and variable, and they say it for a few days, so there is no Window that closes sooner than expected.
But west is better than east coming into the inlet.
SAT
SW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. SEAS 2 TO 3 FT.
Does not look to bad to me, that 2-3 is probably swell.
