Sat = (2) YFT 35# and 45#, (3) Mahi - smallish, (2) Golden Tiles.
Both Tuna came on the longs. First on rainbow mini-bar with pink seawitch. Second came on blue & white Ilander w/ hoo. We were in about 28 fathoms just inside the edge. We saw busting fish and dolphins away from the fleet and trolled over to it. The bite came after surface action was over. It was a double hook-up. Later, (2) Mahi came on a weed line that was picked over. Biggest Mahi came on a jigstop right after we cleared lines to head for the barn.
Sun = (1) YFT 86# citation (big bro Mike pushed me out of the way to grab the rod)
This mother came in on Boone Bird Chain (small) with Green Machine on the WB center rigger in about 42 fathoms. Found a large group of 2-tone dolphins working tight on a big shoal of bait. Awesome trip, action was a little slow but we got at least one shot at fish each day. It was the first YFT caught on our boat. Talked with Billable Hours and saw Donna Sea. Chumlord called us in on a bite on Sun we missed the bite but it lead to finding our citation later near the same water. Thanks Chumlord! Nice to have some friends on the water thanks to all. Can't wait till next time but I might have to swim out there with these gas prices.
