Got to the ramp and saw whitewater all over the inlet. We decided to dump anyway. Had a fresh batch of fiddlers waiting to be dunked. Made it to the 1st island after 30 minutes of beatdown (about 8:45). Got into a few, but the bite was very slow. We had 8 keepers to 20" and a few throwbacks. Had to keep moving as we only picked up one fish per spot. My buddy caught a few flounder inside the inlet, but only 1 keeper. Saw bonedaddy braving it out out there as well. Laid down a little for the ride in at 3:00.

We ended up with 3 keepers 2 TBacks before dinner with Mom. Maybe next weekend the wind will be kind to all.

Out of the 10 or so trips I have made this year it was only nice once and that was to the CLT. It has to get better.
