Fished back in Rudee all day Saturday in the skiff. Caught a half dozen medium bluefish with Mirro-Lure and light tackle. Water like chocolate milk with all the wind. Looking out the inlet, though, birds were working bigtime. Come on,water temps!

I heard there were a few caught before the cruddy weather this past weekend.

Mr. James Morris, local speck expert, caught two small grays Saturday in Rudee, plus many bluefish. Water was way muddy, and he took the grays on cut spot. Specks will be around this week. Fish the falling tide, and fish slow with jigs.Get on your location and cast.
