Weather looks fishable with 15 - 20 out of the SW. I think the hot dog would be pretty good in those conditions and I'll bet the BFT are chomping at the bit to catch a ride back to shore with a brave Angler.......Guess I need to come home and get out there to see what's going on. Not much time left before the Virginia Beach Tuna Tournament.....I hate being away wihtout a boat.
Went down to Pt. Judith Ri yesterday to see the busy commercial fishing port. Talk about fresh lobster (pronounced Lobstah here) !....they sell em right off the boat for a pretty good price. bought a couple and brough back to my hotel room for a fine Lobstah dinner last night....Lots of BFT coming in on the long range boats as well as COD and Fluke (big Founder). pretty nice guys down there very willing to talk with a stranded boater walking the docks.....
well....think I"ll go take a ride and see what else RI has to offer.....great thing about RI is everything is only 15 minutes away from everything !....later...Bob

Bob,
When your in RI, don't forget to stop by the Arm Chair Sailor in downtown Newport. Check out the Red Parrot when your there, they serve some very interesting beverages for old sailors. And the Seaman Church Institute is a must. This is all within walking distance in Newport.
Good luck, give me call when you get back.
Tight Lines,
Scott
