Got a long weekend coming up. I'm not sure what day I'm fishing nor where. What is everybody thinking about?

We are going to try to catch marlins on Sat. out of Oregon Inlet. If Mr. Early Times rigs the baits right -I am certain we will be succesful - as the Captain will be on the fish

I'm looking at the Fingers/Wayne's World/Canyon, but not excited about the weather forecast nor the latest reports from those areas. Might just stay in the Bay and save the $$ for another day.

Drinking a fifth on the 4th then hopefully fishing the 5th and 6th.

Flounder pounding the morning of the 4th, either BRR or the upper half of the CBBT complex (3rd to the high rise). Spot are showing up in better numbers and sizes in a few of my bait holes. I'm trying to get my wife her first doormat.

I think she had him this past weekend but the hook pulled about 10 to 15 feet off the bottom just long enough for me to get my hand on the net. She was pretty bummed, but that will make it all the sweeter when she finally does get him.

If I can stand it I'll have the radio on 68, most days when the bay is crowded I can't stand all radio traffic so I just turn it to 16 or off all together.

Where are you headed, Don?

At this moment, I'm in for Friday. Not sure where yet.

Going Sun. to the Canyon with new rigs and fresh bait. Should be sober by then!

Tom sure yet. We're fishing with ted and Margaret on "Gypsy". I would venture to say Fingers, Canyon areas, unless something big happens over the next few days.

Wed. will be in the bay looking for cobia, Thur or Fri out at the tower reef looking for spadefish, weekend probably OI after some dolphin and bill fish

This will probably chance with weather predictions.

Thurs - HRBT, Hampton Bar for flounder.
Fri - CBBT, 3rd/4th for some spades and then flounder. Momma's orders.
Sat - Depends on how Thurs and Fri go. Might try for Cobia at Bluefish Rock.
