The keeper flounder bight certainly hasn't been fast and furious, but there are some really nice fish being caught daily. On Tuesday our biggest was 6 1/2 pounds and Wed. (today) our biggest was 8 lb 10 oz. I remembered to take a picture of this 8 pounder unlike the last 8 1/2 pounder we caught.

Are you caching those on the rig I saw you using on Mon by the 1st island. It look like you using a rig with 2 or 3 small fish on them

We use a variety of methods depending on where were fishing and the strength of the current in that area. When your fishing the structured bottom areas its important to have your line almost vertical to help prevent snagging and leaving you tackle on the bottom. It can not only become costly for you losing your tackle, but also it trashes the good flounder holes with fishing line and tackle which then hangs up the next person and so on and so on. Eventually the area literaly becomes undesirable for the fish and unfishable for for the fisherman. Jig your jigs, but don't jig you live bait and try not to get snagged. Good Luck.
