How quick the weather changes!! Planned on 1-2 ft on Wednesday, woke up this morning to a small craft advisory. Still went out with a buddy, on the water at 0730. Headed to the cape and started catching the mackeral. Not alot, I think we ended up with 5 in the box, but still got some nonetheless. Everyone was catching them though, reminded me of striper fishing.

One thing that urked me was I was going with the "flow" of the boats, parallel up and down the coast, and this moron in a HUGE boat is going diagonal across our flow, and he threw his hands up at me like I was doing something wrong!! I haven't ran a boat for to long, but I figure if I just follow the pattern I will do okay.

Bounced over the the CBBT, which I have never really had any luck, fished there for about an hour and caught some boulders, which took our tackle then left there. After that we headed home at about 1200.

Hope everyone else did pretty good!

mystery achievement
I ask the same questions, people think they own the water for various reasons. Thats why one my buddys DOES NOT FISH THE BAY, dont blame him either. Just keep doing the right thing and try to find your own hotspots. Just because someone says fish are in one place doesnt mean that theyre not anywhere else.
