Took the boat out today for the first time in the blue water. Started at the hot dog had several knockdowns & 2 small dolphin. trolled towards the fingers & picked up 2 more, this time a little bigger., gaffers. Saw some porpoises & hoped for a few tuna mixed in, but not today. Over all a great day, had 2 friends, my boyfriend Wade, and my Dad on board, caught fish, and have a fresh pair of racoon eyes to show off! What morecould you ask for?
happy fourth,

Pretty work Cheryl! In my book making it out there and back is a sucessful day. Making it back with no major injuries or boat damage with fresh fish for the grill is a great day!

Great job. I looked at the weather at 3 am this morning, called my crew and went back to bed. I'm waiting until Sunday.

yeah mike,
I called for you once. It was a little rough, but around 11:00, it laid down nice, but it did blow up this evening. we rode the trough all the way in, pretty smooth at 22-25 knots. on the way out, 24 knots. the boat didn't bang, a little rolly this morning, but pretty comfortable. The boat did great, I really like the way it handles the rough water, not as fast as some, but really happy overall with the performance. a little over 100 miles running, and all day trolling, 103 gallons of fuel for the twin diesels. not too bad I don't think, I think it will be better on a really calm day.
good luck sunday, we will be in Deltaville with the parents.
