My wife has me enslaved to a dinner party so i asked for a afternoon furlow and got a chance to fish today. I left at the crack of noon and headed to the fish trap area off of thimble shoals. We lucked into a school of triggers and cranked till 5:30pm. Awesome day on the water, and got to Tan some fat ! I will post some pics later. I actually heard someone on the radio singing the Julie ball song other than me. The Melody was not as good as mine.. But still...I think i have started a Phenomenom. Oh Julie.. you are my muse !!

Thanks for the call dude. Only steers and queers sing on the VHF. I was stuck at home catching up on the house. I have a minor boat issue that needs looking at before I take it back out.

I have gotten a lot of b mails regarding bait and cleaning tips. Squid will work awesome for triggers, We used clam also and that was hot. When cleaning a trigger a lot of people will just grill the whole fish and crack the skin. Actually a easier way to clean the trigger is to use a serrated steak knife to cut the tough skin, A regular filet knife to filet it off the bone and then skin it. They clean very easy and are excellent table fare. Go get em !
