Headed out 6am out of Hatt. Harbor, calm seas, beautiful day.... Lines in around 25 fathoms, bunch of peanuts nipping at the baits.... Had a white come in but didnt get him hooked, we head deeper. Stop around 65 fathoms and the crew wants to go for a swim, so I take a lunch break while they snorkle around....Break is over, 2 lines out and we start to troll again, a blue one starts attacking a naked and blue/white islander, where did he come from??? Must have been watching the swimming crew..No hook set, but he starts airing out of the water 100 yds behind the boat to let us know he is still there...Circle around and nada, guess it was his way of giiving us the finger. Tried some high spped trolling at the end of the day but nothing produced. Final tally was 0/1 on whitey, 0/1 on the blue one, and 3 packs of ballyhoo gone thanks to some annoying peanuts that just wanted to tear up my baits. Guess we will give it a shot again in a few days. Forgot to mention one of the guys tried to bring a bunch of banana's onboard the night before, guess it was a cursed trip, I need another shower to get this skunk smell off.......

Heard there were a few sails caught and a few whites, but nothing hot and heavy. Tight lines,
JOE
