I'd like to say thanks to the owners and crew of Billable Ours. Dave and Pat are great hosts and Don runs a great pit. We had a great day on the water, enjoying the sun, rain and each others company. Debbie was up first and had a 42" BFT hit a cedar plug chain on the right short. After we cleared lines Dave and Don kept her and the BFT heading for the fish box. It wasn't the typical BFT fight but she knew she had on more than a croaker or spot. She couldn't stop smiling and was ready for more. We had several more knock downs before Fred (Pop) got his turn. After a hard run Fred started to gain on this nice fish. With less than 50 feet of line off the stern the line let loose and all we had was a Tiki Bar and one less shooter than we started. Not sure what it was but it had teeth. Don and Dave figured it to be a nice Wahoo or Mako. Never know but you could spin a great fish story about the one that got away. Fred did get the next fish which was a small Dolphin and that was the last fish to come aboard. We missed the big winds and storms that came across the ocean front, but did get several rain showers and saw some storms off in the distance. Got to watch Don clean the BFT and get mobbed by some young women in front of Dirty Dicks. I don't know what was more interesting, watching done clean the BFT or listen to him talk to the young ladies. Don is my hero anyway, and a joy to be around. I look forward to more trips aboard Billable Ours and it's crew. Once again thanks Dave, Pat and Don for a wonderful day.....Jake

Jake great fishing with you and Debbie once again!!! She did a great job fighting that fish...gald we were able to get her on a good one.

And yes...I now enjoy cleaning fish even more...its cool to have an audience, especially fans like yesterdays!!

I, also, would like to thank Dave, Pat and Don for a great day on the water. It was great to meet Debbie and fish with Jake again. I know that toothy monster that bit through the shooter's leader was a record wahoo

I would like to thank all involved for taking my wife Debbie out fishing. I was the one who made out, got a lot done around the house and was still able to enjoy the tuna for dinner! Congrats to Debbie and thanks again for making memories of her first tuna.
