i read the report on julie balls web site and it sounded great. now i start reading some of the stuff here and it is not sounding so great. what is going on. is it hit and miss or what. someone please fill me in. i am going out this weekend hopefully i will have a good report for everyone

Julie hits the highlights but if you spend much time on the water you know that wind, tide, deternimation and even just plain luck come into play. We spent the week of the 4th down at First Landing and put a few flounder in the box but I doubt I will ever try it again down there on the 4th. Too many boats and too few captains! It is hard to fish when you are sure a collision is imminent. Prepare your tackle, fish with a plan (as well as a backup or two) and target a species. The fish are out there, lots of possibilities.... Tight lines, be safe and most of all, Have Fun!
