Hey all.. we untied the egg at 9 am and pointed her north on Fri morning heading for the parking lot...on the way we seen many turtles and under some were some nice sized cobia..but not really being prepared fot those we left them behind. We arrived at the parking lot and had some life in the water with lots of baitfish...trolled around and on the way to the Lumpy bottom we caught 2 gaffers. Lumpy bottom had a few boats working the area... as we were getting there as most were haeding home. We were trolling and out of no...where the way back goes off and after clearing all the line we finally boated a citation Wahoo that pulled the scales down to 68 lbs. Then we headed for the Washington canyon to drop the hook for the night...not as much life there as we saw inshore but we managed 3 nice gaffers one pulling the scale down to 22 lbs.... sharks as well. At daybreak we headed back to Lumpy Bottom ans were rewarded with a 96 lb Bluefin...all in all a great trip and one to sure remember. i need to get some sleep and will post pics on our home Website by mid week. Anything special for dolphin at night, or did you catch them on tuna or sword baits?

Ya catch the Mahi right in the chunk baits...if you see them swimming and not feeding drop down your leader size and make sure you can hide the hook...if they are on the small side we just tie a hook on our light spinning rods... but again hide the hook. It works for us. D
