Yeah I just checked the report and it said small craft through Sunday AM... Says 4 foot swell from east 11 sec. dominant. There is not suppose to but 5-10knot diminishing wind, I think it might be ok and still want to try. The swell on Friday was sweet. Nice and spaced out easy smooth riding. How was it out there today. Anyone else still thinking about going..

we went out yesterday and trolled the hotdog area, there were a few boats there, not much happening, had one short strike and that was it, only could troll a 3 rod spread though, slick ride back

We went out and gave it a shot.. Headed NE of hotgog... Little rough heading out, nice ride in. We ended with 7-8 bailers... Nothing else. We had 6 in the spread.. Just could not get em to bite. We found a sulfur line and worked that abit but nada. I think on my next trip I am going a bit further north.
Bait of the day, Blue/White islander....

Damn you nuts.. 17' whaler... We went out at around 5am when it was still small craft.. I got a 23' seahunt... we could only manage 15knots out but came back at over 30... We were in some 5' sea swells with occasional 6'.. the guys on my boat were a little freaked riding out... I was not too worried cause it was gonna lay down in the late am... just a longer ride out.. What time did you ride out?

Thats hardcore..17' Whaler! It was a bumpy ride out on that head sea. I was on Billable Ours and our charter was not fairing well...2/3's sick before we even started fishing. You didn't miss much at the Fingers. We trolled out to the 44FAthom wreck with no strikes...lots of sulfer lines, but no fish. Heard of a couple of bites, but I heard the fishing was better on the 20 Fathom Finger (NE of 26 mile hill) and Lumpy Bottom.

Good luck next time out!

that mini bar you made me was the only thing that got hit, could only pull 3 but it looked good, mini on the flat, seawitch in front of that and a bird/combo back
