Our circle hook man and cockpit crew chief - Mr. Early Times has got the dinks running like snakes and we are looking real good in spite of the slop - so I figure something was going to happen. After a few bailer snips - a white one slashes through and gets on to a squid daisy chain grabbing the hookless ballyhoo we had trailing it. He will not eat the drop back and pulls out to the right. After looking things over - he comes back in and gets on the teaser a second time. This time he takes the drop-back - but unfortunetly goes after the teaser yet again this time with the bait in his mouth and gets tangled up and pulls off - departs the building in a huff. 1/2 hour later a good solid hook-up - but this is a only good gaffer not the pointed-nose man we want. Hour later a blue marlin spanish gets taken out - by what looks like a wahoo -who misses.
That was it. Slow out there today. A few marlin caught - but not a great bite.
