Fished Sat at 42 and north...no drift so trolled all day with 16 fish ........ 4 keepers 20, 20, 21, 25.......The smallest flounder all day was 18in. Lost a biggun...never got to see it but very heavy fish..felt like a cinderblock with the heavy head shakes! All on live spot, squid/minnow & croaker strips and 7" Berkley Gulp jerk baits. Few big fish caught and a few boats with some numbers but the norm was 1-4 keepers all day. Good quality fish however.....Hope this reg thing works for VMRC:rolleyes: . Tight lines.....

Way to go Matt! We were up north @ Silver Beach trying for a cobe but it didn't happen. Heard some chatter on the radio of a decent bite and could see all the boats. I had about the same results a couple weeks ago @ 42. Thanks for the report!

I fished that the area on Sunday. Caught 15 with 5 keepers 20 thru 21 using mostly cut bait and few on Gulps (No live baits)Hot color seem to pink hair teasers
I heard a boat land about a ten pounder on Sunday northeast of the # 42

Fished the cape on Saturday Caught 20 with 3 keepers. All I saw was a lot of under-size fish being caught out there on Sat

What time were you out at CH on on Sat Dave? I need to give 42 a try sometime just for grins. Craig Page was flounder fishing by CH Wreck saturday too, saw him pull one over side, we managed 3.

We fished CH from about 7;30 till about noon and then waisted about 2 1/2 hours at the High-rise (current to strong)and then came back to CH till about 5 pm
fish the area between the wreck and the ship anchored closest to the wreck

caught all keepers on two short drifts within 15 minutes (in the afternoon)
the rest were all throw backs 3 were 18- 7/8ths

I trying to decide if I want to fish 42 or CH next weekend

Only had a couple of shark runs and a few blues. Used live croaker, spot, eels and cut bunker. Did have alot of rays working the area and we were hopeful but no sign of the brown clown!
