Decided to take a friend out togging today, only to get robbed of all the fiddler crabs we had. To make things worse, the other person on my boat (who never fished for tog) didn't believe that togs can steal the bait without any indications other then a bump. To top things off, I had to take him back to port for an appointment.
I started to call it a day but the urge kept calling me. I went to the HRBT and again, not even a bite. What was real funny to me was either schoolies or blue fish were feeding at the Littlecreek ramp (on base). After being skunked all day, temptation tempted me to cast at the pier in an effort to say I caught something.
I think I'll blame my lack of pullage and catching on Jet Lag. Flying for over twenty hours in a 24 hour day is the worse. Hopefully, someone had a good day out there, even if I didn't see very many boaters on the water.
