What are they planning to do as for as a weigh in? Top six fish or all keepers?

I'm trying to find out the same thing, and does the prize money stay the same or does it depend on the amount of boats
Seaslammer
I just found out that it is the heaviest 1 fish

I don't know if that's good or not. It definitely gives someone who doesn't know what they are doing a legit shot at the prize - anyone can get lucky, but the seasoned ones who know where the fish can be found will be hurt because even if they get a very good limit, it won't count unless the biggie is in there.

Seeing that it's for charity and I won't be able to fish that weekend, I won't complain wink.gif .

Buena suerte to all who fish the tourney!

Your right. It will be fun to fish anyway. Does anyone know what the after party is going to be like?

It was a fun time. I fished it aboard the Lucky Starz with two buddies of mine. Unfortunately, we didn't get any big flatfish, but we did have a good time. FIshed the 3rd and 4th islands, and drifted parts of the Chesapeake Channel further out on the ocean side. The after party was nice. There was a 10 year old kid playing guitar and singing earlier on, and for his age, the kid was phenominal. Overall it was a great time for a great cause. I think 1st place went to an 8 pounder, and a few other fish between 5-6 lbs were caught.

1st place 12.5 LBS
2nd place 9 LBS
3rd place 8.2 LBS

We didn't win either. We had a very nice stringer of fish. We kept 8 fish. 7.9 LBS was the biggest and 3 LBS was the smallest one.
