I have never seen them up here, you might try the japanese food store at great neck and VB blvd.

For eating? The white ones are on the grass flats at Hatteras.

post this over on the diving board. there are lots of them on the pilings of the cbbt as well as around the islands.

I have seen them along the wall at low tide at the south side rudee inlet area.
