Went out Mon afternoon to Bluefish Rock, caught several small sharks, one ray, and a couple of bluefish. Headed out to CBBT on Tues morning, even slower, other than the 4-6" sea bass. Went back to Bluefish Rock on the way back in, and caught several good sized bluefish with live bait, one undersize flounder.
Fishing seems a lot slower this year than the last couple. Or maybe I was just lucky last year. Seems like fewer people are posting reports of good fish, too. Any idea what's going on?
