Hello, I've been lurking on this forum for a while and finally took delivery on our new skiff. Moving here from Florida almost three years ago this forum has had a big part in me learning the ropes around here and I'd like to thank each of you that has posted and replied.
I've attached a pic of my 3.5 yr old son with his first Flounder, hopefully the first of many. We ended up with four total up to 18" that were all released. We fished for 2 hours while breaking in the new engine at the HRBT.
I'm looking forward to returning the favor by posting my future adventures and hopefully sharing laughs, experiences, and best of all making memories with each of you.

Welcome to the board and since your son is fishing get him into the Junior Angler program that the Virginia Salt Water Tournament runs. Keep track of the catches for the postcard that you have to send into the tournament office and then they will send your son a nice certificate for six species that they catch. Soon that boy of yours is going to be out fishing you. Congrats on the new ride and keep posting up those reports.

Nice work, I bet your son had a blast. When he gets his award he will get a hat with the deal too. My son just got his and he loves the hat and his certificate. Congrats on the new boat.

I can't wait until my little girl can fish!! She was already on the boat at about 7 months old...gotta get her to not get sea sick early.
