Since the reports have been quite limited this year, I decided to head out around the CLT in search of fish. Not much activity around the Light tower and the Fish Hook. Around the Hot Dog, we caught 4 mahi and 2 wahoo. The water was clear blue and the temp. was about 79-81. Perfect sea conditions. There was some scattered grass between the hot dog and the fish hook, but any debris. The mahi and wahoo were small, but it felt good to catch some fish. Good luck if you are going this week.
