Headed out around 5 with just two of us. Water was crystal clear with tons of sulfur lines in waynes world. Caught 3 peanuts and one gaffer( 36.6 #s). Lost a wahoo that made that gaffer look like a bait- 60#s easy. Right at the boat he made a final deathrun under the gunnel and cut the 80# fluoro like butter. O well atleast we got to see him. After everyone left we decided to stay because the weather was B-E-Autiful. We started trolling around the fingers and when we decided to pull in all the lines, I wanted to try and jig even though there was nothing on the sounder. As I get to the surface a peanut trys to take it. I wish I could say I caught it but all I got from that jig was a hunk of skin. Got home around 10:30 tired and wishin we would have caught that hoo. All in all a great day and lookin forward to doing it again.
