ok, we are going out tomorrow & hopefully saturday. I have not yet fished an east wind. any pointers? tomorrow, unless the forecast changes, i'm not too worried, but saturday looks a little iffy. We are in a 29' Blackfin w/ twin Diesels. I plan to take my dad & his buddy saturday & it is one of my most important trips thus far. Anytime I have the chance to go fishing with my dad, it is automatically top priorty & a good time. really want things good for him. so, I know in the bay, north wind sucks. What about east on the ocean? They are calling for east 10-15 and 20far south w/ seas 4-5ft. Any thought would be greatly appreciated!

We leave at 5:00 am & get back at dark. If I have it in me, I will give a full report.

You should be good......There's a pretty awesome finger of gulf stream water pushing in behind the Cigar...If I was fishing this weekend that is where I would be heading for sure !.....There's going to be alot of tournament boats out there tomorrow and saturday but they can't have lines in until 0830 so get em in early if you can....Good luck....should be good if you find that finger of water.....Bob

I'm with Ktrain on this one, 10-15kts out of the east, from a NOAA report, just add 5kts . It might be sporty to say the least.
