I have some friends in town that want to go fishing tomorrow and catch some flounder. Only problem is that the forecast does not look good (E 10-15) for my boat to go out to the CBBT and fish my usual holes. Any areas inside Lynnhaven that anyone would suggest? I have caught them around the tennis courts but thats pretty much the only area I have tried. Any suggestions? Damn even somewhere catching croaker would probably be OK as long as there is action.

Try around the island in front of Bubbas. Be carefull, the area just south of the island is real shallow. The fish will be around the drop offs around the shoals. If it is not too bad, the area just outside the bridge on the east side also produces...

If you know where the tennis courts are try over there. There is a drop off near there look for it and you will find something. Don't know if it will be keeper size but it will be something and that is better than nothing. Also try on the bay side of the lesner on the side where Duck inn once stood.

If its not to crowded, Long Creek produces nice flounder. If not, the channels around the tennis courts do also. Ive been having luck on live mullet on a naked hook. Im sure bunker will work good too. Good Luck.
