I bought a 25ft SeaFox in 06 from Nautical Marine in Richmond. They have great service. Because of the distance, time to get there, and gas prices , I am trying to find a service center closer. I live in Hampton. I found the following service centers. Neds Marine in Yorktown, Dolphin Marine in Norfolk, Deep Blue Marine in Va. Bch, and Whalens Marine in Chesapeake. Does anyone know anything about these? Which one would you recommend? Thanks.

Only one place to go....Whalen's Marine. Exceptional service!!! Doug and Jimmy in my opinion, are what the industry service standard should be set at.

Not many Suzuki mechs around here that I have seen...I take mine to Deep Blue, believe its about 90 an hour for maintenance.

Whalens. Jimmy is probably the best Suzuki mechanic in the Hampton Roads area.

Can you buy just parts from Whalen's Marine, and do the work yourself?

Yeah, I have seen that site before, but the shipping was like 9 dollars for an oil filter...wanted to hide from that shipping cost...called whalens and they do just sell parts, they don't have to do the maintenance.

Pretty sure he'll sell you the parts too but why take the chance of screwing up? if its something simple fine...but anything technical...I'd trust it to Jimmy...

Sure you can buy parts there and do the work yourself - Jimmy will tell you if there are quirks to the job you are doing, he will also teach you how to do it yourself - Whalen Mariine will go the extra mile to help you - they even came in on a Sunday afternoon to correct something once, they are the Suzuki folks for this area!!!!!

Of course you can. And while you're there if you have any questions, by all means ASK!!!! They will tell you anything and everything you need to know. Believe me, they are the best I've EVER delt with.....

My new Suzuki (bought from them) is getting it's 20 hr service there now. Whalen's owner and his business are first class. Jimmy doesn't work there anymore though.
