Pirates Cove and OI boats caught a bunch of tunas last week. Unseasonably cooler weather of late might have spark a little spurt here. Merit's watching!

I hope you're right because this has been the worst tuna season I can remember. I haven't caught a tuna yet this year.

Sure would like to see some tuna action again on my boat. While the deep dropping has been good lately, it still does not get me as excited as getting covered up in tuna. Not sure I see it happening for us any sooner than Oct with all the warm water everywhere (hope I'm wrong).

We were on the 100 line Sat. There were some weedlines and scattered grass - that looked very healthy. There were some decent mahi's but 81.5 degree water, which I think is a little warm for the tunas. The mid-Atantic tournament did good on the tunas north of the Washington and my friends to the south at OI are getting them good - so its definitly going to break. The question is it going to break for VB? I think the key is the line the OI guys are catching on.. If it's on the Point - that is not good for us. 800 or higher and things might change for the better here..

Tunas would be great. Labor Day is our last day in VB before heading back to Deltaville to do a little home remodeling. FUN FUN FUN. I sure hope things break open soon. We plan to fish friday, saturday & sunday if the weather permits.

Hope to have a positive report friday evening shark_smiley.gif

It was good to see those 2 big eye hit the deck at the VBBT. They had 6 hit at once on TLD 25. Took almost 3 hours to land the 147 and 130+ pound fish.
