Fished the Fingers and Waynes World Sunday. Went out against a little choppy east swell, but it all calmed down just like they said it would. Found 80-82 degree beautiful water, lots of flying fish and slicks, Plenty of Mahi. We got into one school that we pulled a decent bull out of, but for all you light tackle guys, it would be paradise. We had fish on every line, and when we got'em to the boat all their brothers, sisters, cousins, and extended family came up to the boat. I forgot who it was that posted about where a good place was to bail some mahi, Waynes World was full Yesterday.
Where are all the big weed patches this year? I haven't seen one yet.

The first of the weed lines I've heard about were this weekend. BUT they were out in the deep...past 1000 fathom line and even deeper. With these east winds, they should start to march in.

I was deep dropping on the canyon Sunday and saw some scattered weeds and even one mini weedline but didn't see any life on it. I'd be willing to bet the backside of the cigar is all weeded up now with that water pushing in. But it's 79 degree water with 81 pushing in...not exactly they kind of water that gets me excited enough to make a run to it.
