Been working alot not alot of time to fish this year, but we are gonna make some time Tuesday, were gonna take the 22ft center Console out of rudee inlet, gonna look for some dolphin, anyone have any suggestions? never been out of Virginia Beach before, can someone hook us up with some starting spots? Not looking to go WAY out, just far enough for some meat, any and all help is appreciated....was thinking Waynes World...how far out is Waynes World from Rudee?

Waynes world is anywhere from 52 - 60 Nautical miles from Rudee inlet. The water temps are still in the high 70's inshore..The blue gulfstream water has pulled back offshore but you still may find Mahi under floating debris on the way out....You just have to stop and check things out ....

Offshore between 30 fathoms and 100 fathoms there was a pretty good break on Saturday with weedlines holding many Mahi...we probably caught 70 Mahi on Saturday keeping 30. I was on a buddy's boat...most of the fish were bailers but we had 3 fish that would have gone citation. We didn't get in until 830PM so we didn't weigh them....

If you have the fuel capacity then you should be able to get out there and find some fish....Good luck....Bob
