Hey guys!
Well the hubby is FINALLY taking me fishing tomorrow! We have plans to go out with some friends of his to the bay...probably around the CBBT. Was wondering if you all could give us an idea of what's being caught and what bait to use? I would appreciate any advice.ohmy.gif) I'll let you know if we do anything spectacular.

I would try fishing for stripers/rockfish in and around the pilings with a myriad of lures/plugs as well as maybe bottom bouncing for them over the tubes.

You can do a search on here and find all kinds of techniques to get them as well as fishing reports for were they are being caught.

I would DEFENATLY rethink tomorow ......

Sun
N winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts to around 30 kt. Waves 4 to 5 ft

There are other days it isn't worth the chance

Thanks for the info. I hadn't checked for advisories or anything yet. His friends just called and said we should do it another time....so, I guess we will wait.

The fish are biting in Lynnhaven where the water is nice and calm. The pups and specs should make the day worthwhile. Tell you husband to take you anyway, stay inside the inlet and have plenty of action. Good luck.
