Hey Dan,

Welcome aboard.

We launched at willoughby around sunset.

Caught the outgoing up until 10:30

Fished the light line, the bay side bridge below the yellow signs going into the tunnel

We were using gota plugs in 19 ft of water and slayed some stripers!

Hey Dan I was out there also. Caught a nunch but they were very skinny...Threw em' all back. It was fun. Then the mexican game warden busted my balls for 10 minutes. Didnt understand WTF he was saying. The wind picked up then headed in. I'm in the 16' Key West at the HRBT every week. Anthony.

How does the Willoughby ramp work? Is it like Lynnhaven where you have to pay at the Marina, or just like Owl's Creek? Also do you just fish the pilings of the HRBT like you do the CBBT, working the light line at night?

Welcome to the board Dan! I lived out in Willoughby for many years before moving south, right at 7th View on the big bay side. Looking forward to reading your reports!
And the willoughby ramp is free and open to the public, like the Qwls Creek ramp. Norfolk rebuilt it after Hurricane Isabel a few years ago, and I understand it's in good shape. Parking is limited though.
