Colt, Colts buddy Eric, Colt Jr., and myself went out yesterday in search of larger stripers. Seems as though action as drastically slowed in the Elizabeth City Area and the weather has been pretty snotty to make it back out into the big sound. We decided to dump down in Edenton and make a run to the Sound Bridge. Weather was not great but was not as bad as last trip. Probably a good 1-2 around the bridge, making in challanging to troll along the pilings at a close distance. We did manage to put a few NICE fish in the boat. Got our biggest of the year at probably a good 28-29". Got another in the low to mid 20's and then 3 or 4 in the 18-20 range. All and all a great day as any should be, unfortunately I came back home to find my flooring guy did a half arsh job at laying down my Pergo in the house so that put a damper on the day. Anyone know of a painter willing to drive down to Elizabeth City to do some work?
