Didn't you find it nice and warm with the breeze out of the north?
Little choppy going out in the morning - we ran to the high rise and drifted eels all day. Picked up one 45 inch striper that weight in at 35.5, sure felt heavier, but could have been a lot a fatter.
We used bobbers while drifting and if you did not and placed the eel on the bottom you were rewarded with all the Spiny Backs you could catch.
Fished after dark by tossing several types of artificials and picked up nothing. Rather unusual but it happens.

I will second that motion. Freezing all we needed was snow.

Did the Striper fishing once off Rudee Inlet in the snow -- will not do that again. If it is below 40 degrees I am staying home.

My wife complained about the cold on friday and saturday so I didn't ask about going in the rain on sunday.... but I didn't think it was that bad. Much better than some of the december night trips with icicles forming on all the guides and a skating rink for a deck.... but as long as you put fish in the box.....
