Got an early start to fishing, launched at 2 p.m. to calm seas. Got to the third island, to the secret spot of the third island Voodoo and Kaylyn helped me out with a couple weeks ago, and casting white bucktails with a white grub attached, managed to get 2 in the boat, between me and a buddy. (Well he caught them both, but hey, the captain got him on the fish, and I am STOKED!

After a year, I think I am finally getting the hang of fishing the Atlantic, after fishing the Texas coast for a lifetime. Have to remember the water is 25-60 feet deep, and not casting topwaters in 2-4' water like the Laguna Madre in Texas!

A lot of boats out there though, for a work day.

I agree with you about the idfference between fishing here and Texas fishing. I grew up in Port Aransas and moved here 12 years ago and there was a huge change in the way you do just about everything.
