Hokie Grady and I headed out this morning (12/4) around 7:30 a.m. There appreared to be some bird activity from the Lesner to Cape Henry. We decided to troll to Cape Henry under the birds (mainly pelicans) that were picking at the bait and eating it in front of us. We marked some bait on the tide line, but did not pick up any fish. As the wind increased, we moved to the small boat channel and trolled from there to the 1st and no luck. We then casted up on the 1st Island and picked up an undersized schoolie. The only fish that were being caught by others were too small and the coast guard was boarding the boats out there. We left around 11 a.m. as the wind was increasing. Sorry for a bad report, but at least it's honest.
Mike
