We are going to make a couple of tries to get out this weekend. I have been reading the posts, but still not sure about where to hit first. We'll probably launch out of Crab Creek, although last week we went out Fisherman's Island (and fished for 6 hours with a big skunk)

Has anyone fished off of Lynhaven Inlet? Last year we had some surprisingly good days there. Also, how has the small boat channel before the first tunnel on the CBBT?

Thanks for reading my first post.

See my post from yesterday. We fished Lynnhaven to Cape Henry and the small boat channel to the 1st yesterday and only saw small schoolies. There was bird activity and some bait in the area, but not much in the way of fish. I hope that fish will be here soon. Good luck.

Getaway
If you know where the "deep hole" is off of Cape Charles, they were in there on Wednesday. The bait schools were thick and the fish stayed right in them. I was drifting eels and caught stripers up to 43 in.

If you want striper around the small boat channel cast along the pilings We have spent three days there pulling a limit each day with fish 22-27 and a few in the slot that had to go back. We trolled and casted so it is just a matter of finding them, they are there. Good luck let us know how you do.
