On 12/26/08, went south out of Rudee around 9 a.m. Lot's of bait around Sandbridge with birds diving, but the fish weren't biting. Moved up off the Hilton and caught 2 fish in about 24 feet of water at about noon. Very little bird activity and I did not see many fish being caught by other boats. The bite was on for about 30 minutes. Both fish hit a parachute rig. I hope the afternoon bite was better.

Agree, the bite was very, very slow today---managed only one keeper in over four hours. Moved up to the light house area around one p.m. and managed two more (one returned to the deep) amidst thick bait and many, many fish marks on the fishfinder. Seems that they had lockjaw!

Glad I wasnt the only that had a slow day today. I started out at sandbridge also today marking little bait and fewer fish. Went up to the Ramada and marking alot more fish but scattered. Managed to catch 4 at the Ramada on the troll after switching from chartreuse to white.
