Left Lynnhaven this morning and headed to Cape Henry and trolled there for several hours with no luck. As many of the reports indicated found some marks off of Va Beach area near the Va Beach Fishing Pier, only for about 30 minutes. We managed 2 nice fish at 36in and 37in. It turned out to be a nice afternoon as the water calmed down. Called home and told the wife get the oil ready, dinner is on the way.
Chris (1st Mate) and I had a good time together. Nothing like spending quality time with your son.

Fishing was deffinately slow but the weather made it a great time anyway. I agree that there is nothing better than fishing with your kids. I am taking out my 5 year old boy tomorrow. He is so excited right now I don't think he is going to get much sleep tonight.

Dallas,
I started fishing with my son when he was 4 years old at Oregon Inlet. He has never put the rod down. He is now 19 and a fishing manic. Good part is he cleans the boat, cleans the fish (he can be a doctor when it comes to fish fillets) and does all our rigging and gets the boat ready. Its hard to beat that.
Good luck tomorrow and hope you fill the box.
