The fishing report said 2 to 5 pound specks at HRBT. Ive been fishing that bridge alot lately and havent seen any pulled up? Any reports or ideas on how to catch these guys? Are they near the pilings with the stripers or out in open water? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

Try "Trout Maulers" made by Tsunami or White head/Red head Chartreuse, White, or a combo of White/Pink or Chartreuse/Green or White Grubs along the pilings and rocks. If the schoolies do not hit first the Trout should be pouncing on them. I would also try some Red/White Mirror Lures or rattle Traps. and those new "Electric Chicken" shallow swimmers or Poppers. All of these should produce fish this time of year as long as the reports ARE TRUE which may be somewhat exaggerated as well for this time of the season. Tight Lines and Good Luck.
