I got skunk today. I trolled stretches and umbrella rigs from 1st island to 3rd island for several hours. Nothing. There was not even a single bite. It was a great day on the water though.
Brother you are not the only one that got the skunk today. How was the boat?

I got the starter replaced and it ran great. I was hoping to catch some stripers today before I winterize the engine. Didnt really work out.

You weren't alone. Talked to many who didn't catch a thing. For once I did well, but nothing large. Kept two for dinner. Trolled using various Stretch 20, 25, and 30. Colors were Chartruese, blue/silver, and striped blue silver. The smaller blue/silver did the best.
