After the weatherman did not deliver a good forcast for the day after x-max, he came through for saturday, but in late order. We searched through our phones and left many messages to find a forth but no one called that could go. So with diesel prices falling, we decided to go for it with just the three of us. Randy and his son Jacob and myself on Randy's boat left lynnhaven inlet and headed southeast toward the cigar. The latest shots shoed some small pockets of warmer water so we figured we'd give it a shot. bueatiful ride out and falling seas the entire day. first drop rewarded us with made 6 more drops and had two other dites and maybe a third in the next four drops. thought we'd hooked up on two of them, but no luck. we thought that the afternoon was going to be great (usually the best and most frequent bites) but to no avail. the wind dropped even more and the current slowed down to a 1/2 a knot or less. we lost about 2 deg in the water, but by this time there was not enough sunlight to move. worked the area, but no more love. Almost all of our regular crew now has a daytime sword. Now we just need MOMMA to bite and keep the steel in her mouth!!!. I think they are going to be out there for a while so i wish someone else would try to get on them. Casey
