Hoping for a fri-sat fishing trip earlier in the week but the weather fell short. The boys were going to get grand daddy on his first striper. Instead we stayed up late x-mas night and caught a late breakfast friday, enjoyed the day with grand daddy and new toys. Headed to va beach fri night for a day with mom and 3 boys on the bay. Boys were excited about mom being on the boat and their younger brother Ewing 6. Left lynnhaven 7:30am and set out for the ocean side of highrise to meat up with freinds on another boat. We found a nice class of fish earlier in the month and hoped to find more. We were entertained early with a few dogfish as both boats landed several dogs. Before cleaning the fish I measured with tape and fish ended up 41" and 44". We need to update our tape on the floor that only reads 36". Does anyone know where to find a longer sticker tape measure or do we just double up on short ones?
I just got one the other day that goes up to 48 inches from bruces bait and tackle and it was free. Can't beat that. I got a Boat US one to cover up my Sea Tow one.
