Went to 36 A on my Buddy's deadrise yesterday and put 2 on the boat. We got to 36A and I set 4 lines. No sooner did i set the 4th line, the chart spider had a fish on. Pulled ina 22" fat one. She took the 4" teaser baits. Reset the lines and started trolling again. About an hour later the Chart Strecth gets a fish on . Pulled in a 40" 28# rock.
I am heading out to plant light Monday to see whats shakin. I hope to put a few on the boat. Aside from the 2 fish we caught I saw the damnedest thing. I thought I had seen everything on the water until yesterday......and there it was Eel Drowners on a pontoon boat....

I wonder how that pontoon boat would handle 3 to 4 footers or extremely choppy conditions. We saw 3 aluminum jon boats at the higerise Friday night.

I am guessing not so well. Jon Boats, Pontoon Boats just arent for the Bay. The bay can be the most beautiful place one minute and be as snotty as a class of 1 graders the next. Until the USCG makes boating courses mandatory for the new boat buyer......who knows what else we will see. maybe a jet ski with out riggers.......

There is a guy named Brian,he goes by jet ski Brian on another board, and he is out on his jet ski alot and he catches alot of big fish. His reports are great. He has rod holders, fish finder, and a cooler rigged up on that thing. It is very impressive. He also has a larger size boat for days when the jet ski won't cut it.

I think Brian was out there Friday on the jetski...looks like he's got it set up right. Saw him fishing right next to another pontoon boat...if it floats use it and go fishing. biggrin.gif
