Monday morning was pretty fogged in so we took our time getting on station at Cape Henry. Lines in the water at 0830 and had immediate hook ups putting 3 Striper on deck before we even got all the lines out. We had 11 Striper in the box by 1000 then the bight slowed way down for us, but we managed to get the rest of their Limit with the slow bight.

On the morning bight I found the best bait and fish marks between 35' and 40' between the Cape Henry light and the Green Can with the fish mixed in with the bait and feeding good. In the afternoon the bait and fish where holding between 45' and 55' with the fish holding primarily under the bait and was a very slow bight.

All our fish came on MoJo Tomic Combos with only 3 on the MoJo the rest where on the Tomics. No hits on the stretch. Our best multiple was a 3 fish hook up on 2 rods. We had a 39 pounder, 35 Pounder and the rest where between 15 and 25 pounds.

I heard there was a good bight 2-3 miles off the Cape Charles Light way up North in the afternoon, but we stuck it out at Cape Henry to get our last fish.

Thursday and Friday look pretty nice. I'm open Thursday and Friday and still trying to get a couple crews together. Looks like a blow for the weekend. I don't want to miss nice days this time of year, they are too few nice days and the big striper are bighting. If you are interested check under the Charter Boat Forums under KeyDreams.
