Fished the 9 foot shoals today for about 5 Hours had the Kite out with 2 large live Eels.Put out Cut Blue Fish on 3 Rods and Clam/Crab on 2 rods.I chummed 3/4 of a flat of Menhaden,The only takers were Bluefish and a few Skates. The waves were breaking over the Bow at about 3 o`clock so I pulled up and called it a day.I saw a large school of ThreadFin Hearring off the Cape Henry Shoals near the Beach.I was really hopeing to see Mr.Brown Back today.

The conditions were good from my vantage pointe but I guess not Mr.Browns.Temp. was around 69 to 71.The SE Winds were making things bumpy.

I hate to admit it but I was skunked as well (barring 2 flounder and a blue that I caught just to shake the skunk). I put out at LI and headed out with the eventual intention of the 9 foot, but made it to the 4th island around 3, realized the temps and the waves werent cooperating and headed in. I had a buddy on board who was getting a little green so we called it early (first time out in the bay). Maybe tommorrow.

fished the 9ft shoal from 4-9:30 pm saturday night - water temp 74 degrees - The boat caught one 40 inch black drum and lots of sharks on pealer crab - couldn't find any bunker.
TripleThreat
Fish the 9ft shoal on Fri. with Fliboi21 and got the snot beat out of us. Left LC around 5pm and hit the islands looking for blues with none to be found, around 830 or so went and set up on the shoal with just peelers and clam. about 945 the bite started and we packed it up around 1230 when we ran out of peelers (started with 2 dozen). We managed 3 small black 28 - 34" and 13 Reds up to 50". Total of 4 papers with 2 more being within a half inch. Despite the rough seas it was an amazing night.

BLACK ADDER
Fished all day Saturday at 9 ft shoals (that was me on the 17' skiff) then into the pilings for a sheepshead look, then to High Level Bridge for trouts and croakers (loaded up), then wind started getting frisky,so worked back to Lynnhaven by afternoon. Also stopped at Second Island for short tog bite, behind Second and Third for gray trout look with peelers, stopped here and there for this and that. Finished by trolling near Cape Henry with Spanish stuff. The run from the Fourth to Cape Henry was a battering ram in that little skiff, but she got the stuff to take it. (Uh,took several waves over the stern plus had a KILLER headache when back on Dr Jim's dock. With it so smooth in the AM, I ALMOST went to the CLT, which would REALLY have been invigorating!!! And fraught with terror!)
Mega Bite
I ran over from Rudee friday,I was in Lynnheaven on a bait Mission since Rudee has been Devoid of good baits this season. The ride back to Rudee at about 3;30.PM was wet I had to put the full set of Grundens on,1st time since I took off my curtans off. Was that you with the Dr. in the little Therapy?
BLACK ADDER
On Sunday young Bill Cook had the "Little Therapy" and Dr W hisself fished with a local brain surgeon last Tuesday. All reports are the boat is doing good and they is catching beaucoup stripers, with live bait.
