Went out today and did OK on the tog at the 2nd. Ended up with 10 with the largest 22.5". Bait was hard crab. My daughter caught 4; 3 with some assistance and one completely unaided (sorry for the poor quality - forgot the camera and had to use the cellphone):

What a great way to spend quality time with your daughter. It's something she will remember all her life!!

I must say I was a bit nervous letting her use a Penn 965 without my hand on the rod, but she followed instructions to the tee. The fish just about pulled the rod out of her hands but she buckled down and kept the butt tucked under her arm and did a pretty good job of lift and crank - not too shabby for a 6 y.o. It was neat to watch - the tog would dive and pull the rod tip down into the water and then she would struggle mightily to lift it back up. After we finished, I asked her if she liked it when the tog pulled for the bottom. She said no, but when I told her that it meant she had a big fish on, she smiled and said she liked it because she likes to catch big fish. That's my girl!

Way to go pop! She's a cutie...... She caught 4 more tog than anybody on the Seagull Pier today...
